Bassingbourn Youth Football Club (BYFC) is a thriving, friendly club based in the village of Bassingbourn on the Cambridgeshire & Hertfordshire border, a few miles north of Royston.

Our players come from Bassingbourn and the surrounding areas. 

We run mixed and boys teams from U7’s to U18’s we also run a Saturday Soccer Development club for juniors aged 4- 6 and have run several girls teams in the past.

We have close links to Bassingbourn Football Club, Bassinbourn Village College and local primary schools.

The club is affiliated to the Cambridgeshire FA. 

Bassingbourn Youth Football Club is committed to:

- Respect for All -  regardless of age, sex, ability, creed, colour, team etc
- No swearing, fighting
- Good sportsmanship & conduct
- Giving players a balanced approach to the game (ie varying positions)

We aim to provide fun through educational coaching, training and matches in an atmosphere where players can learn and further their football skills with positive encouragement but without peer pressure. 

In 2004 we were awarded FA Charter Standard status which has been renewed since.

We are keen to support all aspects of the FA Respect Campaign.
